Wendy started in horses at an early age in New England where she was
born. She ran for the National Appaloosa Queen's contest in 1978
riding Comanche's Image in the competition with the help from Terry
Thompson out of New York at that time. A.L.L. Star Appaloosa Ranch
was born in 1999, when Wendy, her husband Dan and her father,
William Aregood went into this partnership together and purchased
the ranch in Bridgeport, Texas. The ranch got its name from Aregood,
Lindsey and Lindsey, making it A.L.L. Star Appaloosa Ranch.
At that time we had Comanche's Image (Versatility Champion ApHC
Stallion), his daughter, Comanche's Doc Bar B (ApHC) and Goosedown
(AQHA) reining mare. We added to the Appaloosa herd with very good
bloodlines of Chiparific (daughter of Zips Chocolate Chip) and
Reinvesta (granddaughter of Principle Investment).
In 2000, William Aregood started to raise and breed Black Angus
cattle. |
